Gluten free diet is serious for many people and we take it just as serious to produce the products.
Currently we are dealing with 2 different main suppliers of gluten flour mixes to get a stable supply to our kitchen and from there to our cafe – and then to you of course.
And why mixes? Well, baking cakes and muffins from one single grain type will not turn out good, so you will need more than one grain in your mix. Our biggest success is a mix of corn and soya. When ever we try out mixes with rice and potato the muffin turns out a little less satisfactory. Many of you will know by know, that quality and standard is very high priority for us.
Since we are using products with gluten during the day, we have had to change the production time of gluten free. We can only produce gluten free products first thing in the morning, before any thing else is getting started. So therefore; please do place an order 24 hours before you need gluten free muffins. Then we have a chance to make them for you.
If the demand for gluten free products will increase, then we will be looking at extending the production, of course.
